In a previous blog entry, we looked at Italeri’s 1/48 HH-60H (Italeri 2680). Today’s pictures are for the previously-released HH-60B (Italeri 2620). Both kits are very similar. This Seahawk has decals for two machines: Japanese Navy, and of course, U.S. Navy. Note that the Skunk Modelworks HH-60H and HH-60J in the same scale appear to be derivatives from the Italeri models, but include additional parts (PE, version specific spruce, etc.)
I believe Revell also produces a reboxed version of this kit, but with a more extensive and colorful decal sheet. For more information, see this review on ScaleRotors.com. As for aftermarket, Eduard has a set of photoetch (see picture below), which provides welcome enhancements to the cockpit.
