In a previous blog entry, we talked about Fujimi’s AH-1J Cobra. The pictures below are for Fujimi’s 1/48th AH-1S “Tow Cobra” (Fujimi #44). In fact, as far as I know, Fujimi produced three AH-1S, the “TowCobra” (reviewed today), the “AH-1S J.G.S.D.F.” (Fujimi #43), and the more recent “AH-1S Step III” (Fujimi Q-8).
Monogram also produced an AH-1S (Monogram 5444). Revell recently resumed producing an AH-1F (Revell #04646). I believe Italeri also produced an AH-1S in this scale. I will post pictures of these kits in future entries.
